    Founded in 1883 the Geneva Historical Society tells the stories of Geneva, New York.  The Historical Society preserves and interprets these stories through three historic house museums - the Geneva History Museum at the Prouty-Chew House, Rose Hill Mansion, and Johnston House. 

    The Capital Campaign Coordinator is a key member of a small team who is responsible for implementing and managing the Geneva Historical Society’s capital campaign.  The Campaign Coordinator is responsible for campaign strategy including managing prospect lists, developing and executing cultivation plans and solicitation strategies, preparing and providing support to staff, board members and volunteers, overseeing campaign communications, and planning and managing campaign events.  The Capital Campaign Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.  For a full job description, visit https://genevahistoricalsociety.com/about-us/employment-opportunities/.


    Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or related field required.  Minimum two years’ experience in working in nonprofit environment. Experience with a fundraising database and a track record of delivering results in fundraising.  Interest in research, writing, and reporting.   Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects.  Proficient in using technology, including social media and Microsoft Office. Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
