Behind the Scenes: NYS Museum's New Netherland Collections


New Netherland Research Center Director Dr. Charles Gehring will provide an overview of his work in the translation of Dutch documents, research, and collaborations at the NYS Museum and beyond. 

State Museum Historic Archeologist Dr. Michael Lucas will give a tour in the museum collections area of New Netherland related artifacts from sites in New York State.

Museum Chief Curator Dr. Jennifer Lemak will tour New Netherland related, and Hudson Valley Dutch Decorative arts in the Museum Collection areas.


Virtual Program

Registrants will receive the Zoom link via email the day before or by 11:30 AM for same-day registrations. Registration closes at 11:20 AM.
