Pre-Conference Workshops // Museum and Folk Art Forum

Extend your learning opportunities and gain hands on experience with these immersive and interactive pre-conference workshops.

All workshops require pre-registration available when you register for the conference. Space is limited.

Registration:
$55 for MANY Members
$65 for Museum Professionals

Registration fee includes lunch, reception, and all workshop materials.


All workshop attendees are invited to attend the Museum and Folk Art Forum program with Simon Shaheen, Violinist, Oudist, Professor of Strings, Berklee School of Music at 3:15 PM in the Huxley Theater at the New York State Museum followed by a reception at 4:15 PM.

Museum and Folk Art Forum // NYS Museum, Huxley Theater

10 AM - 6 PM

Join us for demonstrations, performances, and discussions that will explore and strengthen the ways museums, folklorists, and traditional artists can work together to build understanding around the interpretation and presentation of traditional arts and shared informal learning practices.

Cancellation Policy

All requests for refunds must be made in writing via e-mailand received before March 20, 2020. A full refund, less a $40 administrative charge, will be issued. Refunds requested after this date will not be granted, including requests made based on absence due to illness, late arrival for courses and/or weather conditions.
