Kevin Jennings, President The Tenement Museum






Kevin Jennings
is President of the Tenement Museum. He served as assistant deputy secretary of education from 2009 to 2011 under President Obama and has been the executive director of the Arcus Foundation. Jennings founded the non-profit organization Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network and holds degrees from Harvard University, Columbia University's Teachers College, and the Stern School of Business at New York University. 

The Museum Association of New York strengthens the capacity of New York State’s cultural community by supporting professional standards and organizational development. We provide advocacy, training, and networking opportunities so that museums and museum professionals may better serve their missions and communities.
