A Holistic Approach to Access and Inclusion at the Long Island Children's Museum & Access to Art: Creatively Engaging Visitors with Disabilities at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery

How can museums create a more inclusive environment for all visitors and break down barriers to participation? From smaller adaptations like signage, to large scale building modifications, and customized programs. In this session, learn how LICM4all better serves visitors who are neurodivergent and creates a more inclusive environment for everyone, and how the Albright-Knox Art Gallery uses modern and contemporary art as the impetus to creatively engage visitors with disabilities in Access AK programs.
