Conference Cancellation Policy

All requests for refunds must be made in writing via e-mail and received before March 20, 2020.

A full refund, less a $40 administrative charge, will be issued. 

Refunds requested after this date will not be granted, including requests made based on absence due to illness, late arrival and/or weather conditions. Concerns and/or issues regarding hotel and/or event spaces will not be considered as valid reasons to request Conference Registration refunds.

Video/Photography Policy
By registering for and attending our Annual Conference, The Power of Partnership, you grant the Museum Association of New York (MANY) and its authorized representatives permission to film, photograph, or otherwise record your participation in the conference and associated special events. 

You further agree that such images, photographs, and recordings may be used by MANY without your prior approval in any form and for any lawful purpose including, without limitation, promoting MANY. Such use will not entitle you to any credit or compensation. 

You release MANY, its officers, and employees from any liability connected with the use of any image, photograph, or recording taken during MANY's Annual Conference and associated special events.

Professional Development funding available from:

William G. Pomeroy Foundation

The William G. Pomeroy Foundation offers a Professional Development Grant Program, which provides need-based scholarships of $1,000 each to historical societies and cultural museums in New York State to attend the annual MANY conference. These grants are available to 501(c)(3) historical societies or cultural museums in New York State with annual budgets of $100,000 or less. 

Applications open until February 15, 2020

NYSCA Professional Development Grants

Museums may apply for up to $500 for a professional development opportunity for one or more staff, board or volunteers. Out-of-state travel and meals cannot be supported with the award, but registration fees can be.
