Andrew J. Saluti, Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of Museum Studies at Syracuse University, and Brandon Fess, Special Collections Librarian at the Rochester Public Library, will lead this practical conversation about managing an internship program, including templates for internship agreements, funding opportunities, and best practices for mutually beneficial outcomes.

Speakers

Andrew J Saluti

Andrew J Saluti is Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of Museum Studies at Syracuse University. His twenty years of professional practice in both archival and art collecting institutions inform ongoing research and pedagogy in curatorship, collections practice, and exhibition design, placing specific focus on museum governance and leadership in concert with institutional responsibility, stewardship, and sustainability in academic collection building.

Brandon Fess

Brandon Fess is the Special Collections Librarian with the Local History and Genealogy Division of the Rochester Public Library. A native of Rochester, N.Y., he graduated in 2015 from Syracuse University with a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. As Special Collections Librarian, he is responsible for the maintenance of the library's physical and digital archival collections and takes great pleasure in maintaining and providing access to his hometown's cultural heritage.
