    Bureau of Historic Site and Park Services (BHS)

    Waterford, NY

    OPRHP operates 218 parks and historic sites. BHS provides technical direction and support to the Agency's historic sites and parks with historic resources, particularly in the areas of care & management of museum collections, historic interpretation, and cultural resource protection.

    The Conservator of Frames & Gilt Objects performs a full range of conservation treatments within this area of specialization, prepares condition and treatment reports, advises on loans and acquisitions, and performs courier duties as assigned. Conservators are expected to adhere to the AIC's Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice. See attached for a complete job description.

    Full Time Permanent Salaried Position: $69,603-$88,124

    Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Conservation and four years professional experience or five years professional experience. Experience must include specialization in the conservation of frames and gilt objects.
