In the Grimm Gallery:
What was behind all the traveling that took place before the age of the airplane? How does the experience of travel change people and their world view both then and now? This exhibit will examine the impact of travel for business, pleasure or necessity on Rensselaer County residents over two centuries along with a look at the “business” of travel and some amazing travel stories. Using RCHS’s varied museum and archival collections, the exhibit will take the viewer both around the world and just as far as up the hill and back again.
This exhibit opens to the public on Friday, March 29th, at 5 p.m., and will run through Saturday, December 21, 2019. RCHS galleries are open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from noon - 5 p.m. For more information on this exhibit please visit our website!
