Influence of the Dutch on the American Kitchen: An Interactive Living History Presentation

    Join renowned culinary historian Peter G. Rose at Ten Broeck Mansion in a conversation about the 18th century Dutch kitchen in America on Sunday, September 9th, at 1:30pm. Then at 3:00pm, head over to Crailo State Historic Site, a fortified 18th century home, for live historic cooking demos and exploration of Dutch life in early Albany. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged; tickets may be purchased at tenbroeckmansion.org, by phone at (518) 436-9826, or by email at samantha@tenbroeckmansion.org. Tickets are $20 per person or $15 for ACHA/Friends of Crailo members and include the presentation at Ten Broeck Mansion and admission to Fort Crailo.

    The Ten Broeck Mansion is located at 9 Ten Broeck Pl., Albany. Free parking is available in the Mansion lot and along Ten Broeck Pl., Ten Broeck St., and Livingston Ave. Crailo State Historic Site is located at 9 1/2 Riverside Ave., Rensselaer.
