ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Friday marked the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, and a new exhibit was unveiled at the Strong National Museum of Play.
Organizers say the exhibit shows how hip-hop inspired joy, play, and fun while creating a new art form. It also explores the wide-ranging cultural influence of hip-hop and includes many artifacts from the museum’s collections.
