POTSDAM — The North Country Children’s Museum (NCCM) has received a grant award totaling $50,000 from the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to support the organization’s second-floor lighting as part of the museum’s expansion.

This competitive award is one of 144 capital projects funded across New York State.

“We are honored to have NYSCA support our expansion project with this critical funding,” said Children’s Museum Executive Director Sharon Vegh Williams.

The North Country Children’s Museum promotes hands-on, minds-on learning with exhibits and programs that celebrate the North Country’s unique culture and geography.

The $3,500,000 expansion project is 85% funded to date.
