As the Museum Association of New York’s Business Manager, Amelia maintains a growing member and donor database, acts as the first point of contact for communication with the MANY office, works closely with the Board of Directors, and oversees accounts payable and receivable, and grant administration. Amelia produces and tracks member correspondence and donor acknowledgements for nearly 700 paid members from museums, cultural organizations, and industry partners across the state, producing regular reports submitted to the Board of Directors. In coordination with the MANY Assistant Director for Programs and Communications, Amelia supports virtual program delivery from the registration process through managing the Zoom platform live.

In 2022, MANY partnered with NYSCA to deliver capacity building grants of up to $5,000 to museums. Amelia coordinated the review of nearly 200 applications representing 51 of NY’s 62 counties.

Before joining the MANY staff in March 2022, Amelia served as Director of Marketing and Admissions at The Landing School of Boat Building & Design where she enhanced the school’s use of KPIs in reporting admissions data to more accurately project financial standing for the year ahead, and built the school’s first donor database. Prior to her time at TLS, Amelia worked in sales forecasting in the fashion industry in New York City. She has ten years of experience with financial management, data analysis, and database management.

Amelia completed her undergraduate education at the University of Utah and Parsons School of Design.
